First Time Visit90 minutes

During your first visit we will identify and prioritize the health issues you have and gather your full health history. I will use tongue and pulse diagnosis to determine the cause of your symptoms and explain your diagnosis to you. Then you will have your first acupuncture treatment, about 30 minutes.

Follow Up and Check Up 60 minutes

On these visits we will check in on progress made in the areas of your health we are focusing on. I will use pulse and tongue diagnosis to monitor changes and then you will have an acupuncture treatment, 30 to 50 minutes.

What To Expect

I practice a style of acupuncture that mostly uses points on the body from the elbows to the hands and from the knees to the feet. Very rarely is there a need to remove any clothing at all. Rolling up your sleeves and pant legs is usually all that is needed before beginning your treatment.

Acupuncture has a strong reputation for being safe. Needles are sterile, single use and disposable. Once each point is put into place, you will feel a heavy, dull sensation at each point. This is your body’s way of letting you know the treatment is having an effect. During your treatment you will likely feel very relaxed and possibly fall asleep.
